Ingredients

  • 46 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 cups unsweetened apple cider
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 cups shredded mixed cabbage
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down in oil over medium-high heat until golden.
  2. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the pan for 60 seconds.
  4. Deglaze the pan with apple cider, scraping up brown bits.
  5. Whisk in honey and Dijon mustard; simmer until thickened.
  6. Return chicken to pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Toss shredded cabbage with cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  8. Serve chicken with a side of the crunchy slaw.
