- 6–8 large buttery croissants, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter.
- Cube the croissants into 1-inch pieces and spread them in the dish.
- Evenly distribute the shredded cheddar cheese over the croissant pieces.
- Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants and press down to saturate.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
