- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
Instructions
- Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Marinate chicken in half the sauce for 30 minutes.
- Thread chicken, pineapple, and onion onto soaked skewers.
- Grill over medium-high heat, turning every 3-4 minutes.
- Baste with remaining sauce in the final 2 minutes of cooking.
- Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
