- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cold water
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Whisk together chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred or slice into pieces on a plate.
- Mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry. Stir into the crockpot liquid.
- Stir in butter until melted and glossy.
- Return chicken to the pot and toss to coat with gravy.
