- 4 salmon fillets (6oz each)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Tear off four large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil and place them on a large baking sheet.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, minced garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Place each fillet in the center of a foil sheet and spoon the glaze generously over the top.
- Fold the sides of the foil up and over the salmon, sealing the edges tightly to create a packet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully open the packets and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
