  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Clean chicken thighs under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Coat well and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken thighs (reserve excess marinade) and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour in the reserved marinade after flipping the chicken. Reduce heat to low and simmer for another 10 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens slightly.
