- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Clean chicken thighs under cold water and pat dry.
- In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Coat well and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken thighs (reserve excess marinade) and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour in the reserved marinade after flipping the chicken. Reduce heat to low and simmer for another 10 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens slightly.
