- 1 ½ cups all‑purpose flour
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 2 tbsp warm water
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded provolone
- 1 tsp Italian herb blend
- 5 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil, stirring until sticky dough forms.
- Knead dough until elastic, cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Mix cheese blend, herbs, and pepper flakes.
- Shape dough, layer cheese, fold, and let rise again.
- Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Cool, slice, and serve warm.
