  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 fresh scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix miso paste and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Place salmon on the baking sheet and coat with the miso butter mixture.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily at an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. While baking, combine scallions, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and chili flakes in a bowl to prepare the salsa verde.
