Best 6 Graze Snack Recipes
1. Cheesy Jalapeño Cornbread Muffins
These little muffins pack a punch! They contain spicy jalapeños and cheese but are lightened with whole grain cornmeal, fat-free evaporated milk, whole wheat flour, and egg whites. What a way to start the day.
Ingredients:
- 15 graze snack points (per serving)
- 3 oz cold cage-free eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed (less for less sweet muffins)
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix eggs, butter, flour, cornmeal, and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk until the batter is smooth.

Step 2: Finely chop 1 jalapeño and add to the batter. Mix the remaining jalapeño with 1 cup of cheese in a small bowl. Add half this mixture to the batter and stir to combine.
Step 3: Add milk, brown sugar, and baking powder to the other half of the cheese and stir well until combined. Spoon this cheese filling into each muffin cup until they are almost full (I find a little more than half full is perfect). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Step 4: Let cool the pan for 5 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.
2. Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Feta and Pita Chips
This easy hummus recipe is easy to make and perfect for snacking or serving at parties or gatherings! The roasted red pepper adds great flavor to this simple chickpea spread.
I like these snacks because they are high in protein and are filling. Feel free to use any pita for these snacks.
Ingredients:
- 2 graze snack points (per 2 oz serving)
For Hummus:
- 32 graze snack points (per serving)
- 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed (can also use 2 cups of cooked chickpeas or 1 15oz can of drained and rinsed chickpeas)
- 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste, which can be unsweetened), divided
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spread hummus into a small baking pan and bake for 15 minutes, or until the hummus is softened. Place in the refrigerator to cool.
Step 2: Remove the hummus from the baking pan and place it into a food processor or blender with 1 tablespoon of tahini, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Blend until the hummus is smooth.
