Garlic Snack Stick Recipe: Great 6 Serving IdeasGarlic Snack Stick Recipe is a recipe passed down in my family from mother to daughter. It is a delicious, protein-filled snack that is great for the whole family,
including those with special dietary needs such as gluten intolerance or celiac disease. This simple and tasty recipe can be made in about an hour and a half.
How to make Garlic Snack Stick Recipe
- 1lb of Ground Beef
- 1-2 packets of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh minced garlic (sprinkled into the meat)
- 3-4 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce (to taste)
- 1/2 cup of your favorite bottled BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon of your favorite Tabasco Sauce (optional)
Step 1: Mix meat, soup mix, garlic & Worcestershire sauce together until thoroughly combined.
Step 2: Using your fingers form the meat into a small, tight patty and place into a hot non-stick pan; cook until fully cooked.
Step 3: Once the patties are cooked and browned on each side, flip over and cook for about 5 more minutes on the other side. They are done when the patties start to bounce/jump in the pan.
Step 4: While the patties are cooking, mix BBQ sauce and Tabasco sauce to make a glaze.
Step 5: Place cooked patty on wax paper or aluminum foil and top with BBQ/Tabasco glaze and roll up in the wax paper or foil; place in a refrigerator for one hour or until cooled.
Step 6: After the patties are cooled, slice 1/8″ and place them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. This recipe uses about 20-30 slices to get about 8-10 serving-size patties. Top with more BBQ/Tabasco glaze if desired and baked at 250 degrees for 30 minutes or until the glaze is nice & crispy around the edges.
Step 7: Serve with your favorite bottled BBQ sauce! Makes 8-10 servings.
