  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped figs
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
  • 12 fresh figs cut into halves 

Directions: 

Step 1: Boil water in a pot and add chopped dates. 

Step 2:  Cook the dates in the boiling water for 4 minutes. 

Step 3:  Place the cooked dates into a mixing bowl, then add figs, honey, and cinnamon, as well as a vanilla extract if you’d like to add it.

Step 4:  Mix all the ingredients with a spoon until they combine well. 

Step 5:  Spread figs on a plate, then roll each fig in half with the date mixture. 

Step 6:  Continue with the rest of the figs until they all are done. These rolls can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days, so make some extra and keep them on hand to eat during the week.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chocolate quinoa puffs
  • 1/4 cup packed pitted dates (about 3)
  • 3 tbsp. peanut butter 
  • 2 tbsp. ground flax seed 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries 

Directions: 

Step 1: Mix the quinoa puffs, dates, peanut butter, vanilla, flax seed, and cranberries in a large bowl. Mix until it combines well.

Step 2: Form the mixture into about 20 balls. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Directions: 

Step 1: In a food processor, pulse almonds or walnuts until they are chopped finely. Then add cocoa powder and coffee essence, and pulse until the mixture becomes crumbly. 

Step 2: Add dried cherries or cranberries and continue blending until everything is combined. You can add salt to taste if you’d like.

This recipe can be done with dark chocolate or chocolate chips. Just use your favorite type.

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped into small pieces

Step 1: Combine cocoa powder, almond butter, coconut, and nuts in a bowl and mix until it combines well.

  • 1 cup chopped dates 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. almond butter 
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp. Ground flax seed 

Directions:

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a food processor until they become soft dough. Form into balls that are about 2 tbsp. Each.

Step 1: Mix cocoa powder, peanut butter, and vanilla in a bowl until well combined. 

Step 2: Add nuts and dried cranberries to the chocolate mixture and mix until they combine.

Step 1: Mix oats, flax meal, and almond butter in a food processor until they’re combined well. Then add salt and pulse until it becomes a soft dough. 

Step 2: Roll dough into about 20 balls with about 2 tbs of mixture each and place them on parchment paper to make it easier to remove from the parchment when cooked.

Step 3: Bake in a preheated 375f oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

This recipe requires no baking and is super easy to make. It takes about 10 minutes to make enough for you and your friend! 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut 
  • 1/4 cup dried raspberries 
  • 2 tbsp. snipped macadamia nuts 
  • 1/2 tbsp. flax seed
