- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 8 oz spaghetti or penne
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup water or beef broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil, brown ground beef with onions, garlic, and bell pepper.
- Add tomatoes, paste, seasoning, salt, pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
- Pour in water or broth, bring to a gentle boil, then stir in pasta.
- Simmer on low heat, covered, for 8–10 minutes until al dente.
- Sprinkle cheeses on top, cover 2 minutes to melt.
- Stir, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
