- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or ½ cup frozen, thawed and drained)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the pasta shells until al dente as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, spinach, half of the mozzarella, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Generously fill each shell with the ricotta mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells seam-side up and pour remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
